At Lumà Beauty & Aesthetics, we want you to feel confident, informed, and comfortable when booking your treatments. Here are some of the most common questions we’re asked.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online anytime via our booking system at www.lumabeauty.co.uk. All available treatments and times are listed there. If you need help, feel free to email info@lumabeauty.co.uk or call us on 07445 853029.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A small deposit is required to secure your appointment. This amount will be deducted from your final treatment cost. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred if you reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the loss of your deposit.

Do I need a consultation before aesthetics treatments?

Yes. For treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, a consultation is required before your treatment with our Nurse Prescriber Jess to ensure treatment is safe and suitable for you and for her to issue your prescription for your product. This needs to be booked on the booking system with at least a 48 hour window before your actual BOTOX treatment can take place.

Who will carry out my treatment?

All treatments at Lumà are performed by fully trained, licensed, and insured professionals. Tara specialises in aesthetics & permanent makeup, while Sarah provides the very best in beauty treatments.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup typically lasts 2–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. We recommend a colour boost every 12–18 months to maintain results.

Do you offer aftercare advice?

Absolutely. Every treatment comes with tailored aftercare guidance to ensure the best possible results. For permanent makeup and aesthetics, written and digital aftercare instructions will also be provided.

What brands and products do you use?

We only work with high-quality, trusted brands such as Profhilo, Plinest, Seventy Hyal, Botox and Gel Bottle. Our aim is to provide safe, effective treatments with beautiful results.

Is there anything that makes me unsuitable for treatment?

Some conditions or medications may prevent treatment. For example: being under 18, pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain skin conditions, or active infections. During your consultation, we’ll go through your medical history to make sure treatment is safe.
